Hout Bay International School currently has a resident tennis coach on site to provide professional one on one coaching outside of the regular school extra-curricular activities. This individual professional coaching takes place before school, during school hours or late afternoons.

Professional Coach – Mr Christo DeKoker

Christo (Chris) DeKoker is a qualified intermediate tennis coach, coaching beginner all the way up to intermediate level. Chris coaches both adults as well as youngsters and is passionate about sharing his knowledge of the game with his students by bringing tennis to new students in a fun and enjoyable manner.

Chris has coached tennis for over 12 years and still plays league tennis in our Western Province league during season. Chris coaches tennis throughout the year as well as adding Hockey coaching to his schedule during the Winter Season.

Chris has a genuine love of all sports, from playing goal keeper for his High School Football team and representing Natal Midlands at hockey and cricket to being a part of his schools league and social tennis teams. His experience and love for sport is visible and passed on to all those he coaches.
